Dr. Fu Lina of the Medical School and two undergraduate students invited to South Korea for international conference

5月26日至5月31日，第十二次世界生物材料大会在韩国大邱会展中心隆重举行。世界生物材料大会每四年举办一次，被誉为生物材料界的“奥运会”。黄淮学院医学院付丽娜博士和21级护理系本科生张怀德、马兰兰受邀参会。
From May 26th to May 31st, the 12th World Congress on Biomaterials was held in Daegu convention and exhibition center, South Korea. The World Biomaterials Congress is held every four years and is known as the “Olympics” of the biomaterials industry. Dr. Fu Lina, of the School of Medicine at Huang Huai College, and Zhang Weide and Ma Lanlan, grades 21, undergraduates in the Department of Nursing, were invited to attend.

Dr. Fu Lina presided over Yi“Plant and Polysaccharide-based Biomaterials”Thematic sessions were held and academic presentations were delivered.
张怀德、马兰兰展示了题为“Preparation and Characterization of Bacterial Nancellulose/Silver Nanoparticles for Antimicrobial Wound Wraping”的海报，介绍了细菌纳米纤维素与纳米银粒子复合作为一种抗菌敷料的应用前景。
Zhang Weide and Marulan presented the titled“Preparation and Characterization of Bacterial Nancellulose/Silver Nanoparticles for Antimicrobial Wound Wraping”The poster describes the future of the application of bacterial nanocellulose and nanosilver compounds as an antibacterial dressing.
世界生物材料大会汇聚了全球生物材料领域的顶尖科学家和相关从业人员，为分享生物学、生物材料、生物系统、生物工程和组织工程方面的最新创新成果提供了平台。此次会议是医学院本科生首次参加国际水平的学术盛会并展示其科研成果，是医学院坚持科教融合办学理念和开放式办学定位的一个示范案例。
The World Biomaterials Congress brings together the world’s top scientists and practitioners in the field of biomaterials to provide a platform for sharing the latest innovations in biology, biomaterials, biological systems, bioengineering and tissue engineering. The conference is the first time that undergraduates from medical schools participate in an international level academic event and showcase their scientific research results, which is a model case for medical schools to adhere to the concept of integrated science and education and the position of open-ended teaching.
